DEUTZ FAHR tractors live up to their economic reputation. After all, modern farmers expect fuel-efficient, high-power engines. The new Agrofarm series is powered by a water-cooled 4-cylinder 4litre diesel engine, with a turbocharged engine available in the Agrofarm 100. This series boast a compact design, uniform power development and low fuel consumption.

Fitted with mechanical engine control and a modern high-pressure Bosch individual injection system with injection pressures of up to 1.400 bar, they deliver efficient fuel utilization, enormous efficiency and excellent emissions values. And, thanks to the 160 litre fuel tank, the tractor is more than a match for long working days.

The Agrofarm’s reliable transmission comes to fore particularly when the vehicle is used as a grassland, loader or specialist tractor. Two transmissions are available: A Syncroshift transmission with 20/20 forward / reverse speeds with an ergonomic Shuttle lever located on the left hand side.

A Powershift/ Powershuttle transmission is also available with two shift stages and 40/40 speeds, it offers the right speed for every application with a maximum road speed of 40km/h .This transmission is fitted with a hydraulic Powershuttle with five adjustable settings, enabling the driver to change the direction of travel without actuating the clutch. This makes front loader work and manoeuvring child‘s play. The Powershuttle also comes with a comfort clutch on the shifting lever. This engages at the press of a button and shift up to 10 speeds without the clutch pedal being pressed.

Today’s farmers can rely on DEUTZ-FAHR to give them a comfortable workplace in every tractor class. The new Agrofarm series boasts a newly designed cabin and interior design which gives the operator ergonomic operation – suitably designed in friendly colours and high-quality materials. The cabin offers an exemplary workplace with safe cab access with a large door opening angle, anti-slip, solid steps, excellent freedom of movement and clear view of all important operating and control elements.

Additional comfort comes with air-sprung driver’s seat for relaxed and concentrated work. This ergonomic driver’s workplace includes the softly padded driving wheel, located within easy reach comes with adjustable tilt and reach; it can be optimally adjusted to the height of any driver. All Agrofarm tractors are fitted with a high output air conditioning system to suit the harsh Australian climate.

A dedicated 56 L/min pump supplies oil for only the hydraulics and auxiliary valves ensuring maximum oil is available at all times. Enough flow is available for high demanding implements due to a dedicated 56 l/min hydraulic pump with 3 auxiliary valves available on request. The new Agrofarm series is fitted also with a dedicated power steering Hydraulic pump allowing you the operator maximum hydraulic flows to the implements fitted to the tractor.

The new Agrofarm Series has a strong, simplistic easy to use three point linkage system with high capacity lift of 4300kg fitted to the Agrofarm 100. A mechanical lower link sensing system gives accuracy and greater sensitivity.  This system is simple but very effective.
